Description
Road design and traffic along Markham at the eastern edge of the dissemination area is very different from all other roads within the area. A little farther north, Markham connects onto the 401 and drivers use this as a throughway to and from the highway. Recent condominium additions along Markham just north of this DA from Brimorton to Ellesmere add a lot of traffic. Noise levels from all of the traffic and bus routes require larger building setbacks than are seen elsewhere in the area.
