This page demonstrates a (very) simple narrative displayed using location points organized as relevant to episodes, with each episode optionally framed, when an episode is selected in a drop-down menu, according to a narrative extent. Narrative extents are defined in terms of one or both of locations that might not be part of the episode being displayed, and geographic extents defined as part of the narrative extent object itself.
an episode displayed without use of a narrative extent is automatically framed to include all locations that are listed as part of the episode.
The objective is to frame episodes in a narrative sequence to help a user understand the spatial relations that underlie that narrative as it progresses.
